Requirements
- Qualified accountants (CIPFA/CIMA/ICAEW/ICAS/ACCA) can get up to 90 credit exemptions from the MSc allowing direct entry on to this Top Up.
- Ofqual regulated qualifications in a relevant subject area at Level 7 may also attract exemptions up to 90 credits.
- Each application will be reviewed on merit and applications which do not fall into the criteria listed above may still be considered individually.
The MSc Accountancy and Financial Management programme is designed for professionals working in the business, accountancy and finance sectors. The programme enables you to apply your advanced knowledge and understanding of accountancy and financial management and leadership whilst developing professional practice through a challenging programme of study which supports critical self-awareness, stimulate creative thinking and enhances problem solving and decision making techniques.
This is a Top-up programme designed to allow you to progress from a prior approved postgraduate qualification or Chartered Accountancy training, to complete a full Master’s degree in Accountancy and Financial Management.

Entry Criteria
To access this Top-Up you must have an underpinning Honours degree in Accountancy or Finance. You should also have studied an Ofqual regulate Level 7 in Accounting or Finance related subject. Candidates from a professional background may also be considered such as CMA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW If English is not your first language you will need to complete a secure English language Test at IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. with no band less than 6.0
