Level 5 Extended Diploma in Management

This course a 120 credit Ofqual regulated qualification and is equivalent in level to the 2nd year of a Bachelor’s degree. This qualification has been designed for individuals seeking to progress to take the final year of a Bachelor’s degree course in an area of management.

The course aims to develop understanding of management and to develop key management skills. The course is designed to have exit points to allow an additional qualification to be gained or if an individual is not certain of their commitment to the 120 credit course they can leave with less credits and still achieve a recognised qualification.

Entry Requirements

Entry profile:

  • prior study in business, management or related subjects at level 4 or above a level 4 qualification for example an ATHE Level 4 Extended Diploma in Management or an ATHE Level 4 Diploma in Business and Administrative Management
  • other equivalent international qualifications

The 3rd year of a variety of Bachelor’s Degree Top-Up Programmes at a higher education institution including Southampton Solent University, University of Northampton, Anglia Ruskin University. In addition studies can do an online top up in BA(Hons) Business Administration at Western International College. This is awarded by London Metropolitan University.

Continue onto a level 6 qualification from various awarding bodies including ATHE Level 6 Diploma in Management Level 5 Diploma in Computing at Western International College.
