Our home is in Tottenham Hale which is an area within the London Borough of Haringey, positioned in North London. Only 8 miles from Central London, the College is well located, with the closest tube station, Tottenham Hale, only two minutes walking distance. The station is served by the London underground Victoria Line going into central London and the West End, and Greater Anglia trains from Stratford in East London. In addition you can go to Stanstead airport from Tottenham Hale within 36 minutes by using the Stanstead Express, it will also take you into central London in 11 minutes. In front of the station is the main bus stop with buses arriving from a number of areas. There is a retail park, adjacent to the station with local shops, fast food restaurants, petrol stations and parking.
The borough of Haringey covers an area of 11 square miles and shares borders with six other London borough, they are: Enfield, Waltham Forest, Hackney, Islington, Camden, and Barnet. Haringey similar to almost all London Boroughs has very affluent areas and others less so. The Borough has some very familiar local landmarks enjoyed by all, including Alexandra Palace, Bruce Castle and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. It is also a very green borough with large open spaces totalling 25% of its total area largely made up of Local Nature Reserves and a number of conservation areas including five ancient woods, these are Highgate Woods, Queen's Wood, Coldfall Wood, Bluebell Wood and North Wood.
